My son Arvin has been enrolled in Level 2 of Bangla Institute. He is almost done with his course and I cannot emphasis enough on how happy I am as a mum!
The instructor Sumaita is a wonderful person. She is patient, fun and knows the content very well. We love the teaching methods very much. My son is always excited about his classes. We are noticing an amazing change in his Bangla vocabulary. The first time he successfully he wrote the first few Bangla alphabets will always be special to me and my husband. We owe it all to the wonderful Sumaita. Arvin is trying to incorporate new words during conversations and is even quizzing his grandparents over video calls!

I have been trying to learn Bangla for my wife and the courses from Bangla Institute were great. My instructor, Sumaita, was very flexible with class time and patient but helpful with pronunciations and conversation. Going through everyday situations and reading, writing, and speaking with Sumaita in Bangla has made me feel much more comfortable with the language and improved my comprehension considerably.
I’ve grown up speaking Bangla fluently in a bengali household in the US. However, writing/reading is where I lacked. I chose the Bangla Institute as a pathway to solidify my reading/writing skills and I have no regrets!
My instructor, Sumaita, has been very transparent with her expectations and teaching style. Her classes caters to the students needs based on their learning level/pace. Most importantly, she presents herself in a friendly and kind manner towards students, setting up a fun and impactful learning environment.
2 months in, and I’m able to read/write basic Bangla sentences and have seen a significant improvement. For several years I have been searching for some online institute who teaches bangla also to adults in advanced levels. I was feeling quite depressed because from in 21st century we can find many institutes and apps that teaches several things… from several languages to skills… coming to this century not having any access to learn better my mother language was very sad. I had the pleasure of working with Maliha to improve my Bangla reading. In the 8 months, I took classes with her, we did readings, vocab, and some writing as well. There were definitely some challenging readings but Maliha guided me through them excellently. I have progressed immensely upon the conclusion of our classes. I am currently halfway through my first Bangla book completely independently.
Farzana (Mahi) has been amazing. She has made me feel so comfortable during my classes and taught me a lot. Would highly recommend her, such a talented lady 😀
Very friendly and helpful tutoring experience. You are matched with your own tutor for 1 on 1 sessions and you learn from square one. Please note I can only speak for the reading and writing portion of the program as I did not learn speaking here, but I have no doubt they would do a great job with that as well.
I was lucky enough to be matched with Sumaita, who is a very experienced teacher and a true language connoisseur. She is attentive to every detail of grammar, handwriting, and pronunciation, helping her students refine their skills towards excellence. She will also relate the nuances of Bengali to concepts in English, making it relatable and easier for students. Sumaita is very friendly and approachable for questions as well.

Bangla institute was a great entry point for me to continue my Bangla reading skills. I took the avanced Bangla class for adults with Maliha. Maliha was a patient and encouraging teacher who was kind, understanding, and smart. She was flexible to reschedule classes as I needed. Overall, I saw my reading skills and speed improve with the class, read and learned about historical events, and improved my vocabulary. I would recommend that others take classes with Bangla Institute to learn Bangla!
My teacher Sumaita was really friendly and understanding to my pronunciations. She also taught really well in an easy to understand way. I only had 4 lessons but In sha Allah I can continue with more in the future.
As someone who speaks Sylheti and lives in the UK it made me sad I didn't know how to write or speak Shuddho Bangla, something which I really wanted to learn.

I am really happy with my child's online Bengali lessons and have found every communication with Bangla Institute to be helpful and courteous.
